A grocery store called police as a young woman was caught shoplifting food while holding her six-month-old baby. She told the officer that her boyfriend left her and took all of their money, so she was unable to feed her three children.The officer called Angels on Patrol and we provided a week’s worth of food, a list of community resources to nearby food banks, and information to apply for food assistance through the Ariz. Dept. of Economic Services (DES).
With your support we were able to respond to 255 officer requests in 2019, and have a vision to grow to serve law enforcement departments across the nation.
