Angels on Patrol ONLY accepts requests entered by ON-DUTY AZ POST certified law enforcement officers. *Off duty requests can not be granted*  AoP will deny requests that do not meet mission.


Important Information:

ANGELS ON PATROL IS NOT A HOMELESS SHELTER PROVIDER. PLEASE REFER BELOW TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES THAT SPECIALIZE IN THIS AREA AND HAVE PERSON CALL 211. *Downloadable resource sheet at the bottom of this page.


****AoP WILL NOT provide assistance if an officer is called out solely to place a request to AoP.*** For example, if an officer is asked by a Victim Advocate, community member, community agency, etc., as this does not meet our mission. Have the person in need contact 211 instead.


AFTER HOURS REQUEST - 

AoP is closed from 1900 - 0700 hours Monday- Friday, Saturdays/Sundays and holidays.  If you are submitting a request during those times please obtain the After Hours Visa card housed within your department.  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A CALL BACK DURING THE HOURS WE ARE CLOSED.  


If you will be using the After Hours Visa card, please submit the request to AoP after doing so, in order that AoP may receive accurate and current contact information for when we reopen.

I-Help Centers

  • If you are age 18 and older and in need of I-HELP emergency shelter services, call and leave a message on the I-HELP hotline at 480-722-8922 extension 5000 and your call will be returned by staff. 
  • Southwest Valley Information and Intake:

    Men and women welcome
  • Mesa: Women only have to be at 424 W. Broadway Mesa by 3pm (Paz de Cristo)
  • Tempe: Will take Men and Women 2424 S. Mill Avenue (Church of Christ) have to be there by 3pm
  • Chandler Picks up every SUNDAY, MONDAY, and TUESDAY at the Chandler Christian Community Center (345 S. California St) in Chandler. Each night a different area church hosts the guest. Men and Women are welcome NO CHILDREN. Please arrive BEFORE 4pm. A meal and a place to sleep are provided.
