Angels en Peru was born from the AMAZING response to the Angels on Kili fundraiser. In July 2023, K2 Adventure Travel took a group of Five - 2 Chiefs, 1 Lt., 1 Detective, a civilian.

Angels on Patrol is partnering with K2 Adventure Travel for the fundraiser of a LIFETIME! Officers (their friends and family) who choose to participate in this fundraiser (which means they will be hiking Machu Picchu) are raising $6500 each for Angels on Patrol. A portion of those funds will go to K2 Adventure Travel who will host our hikers in Peru located within the breathtaking Andes Mountains, the Sacred Valley is a sight to behold. It will begin in the historic city of Cusco, then hike the famous Inca Trail to Ollantaytambo and end in the ancient city of Machu Picchu.

*Our hikers will be in Peru from July 7th to July 17th, 2024. This is a life changing adventure and a great mental health break for the participating law enforcement officers.

What a tremendous opportunity to not only support Angels on Patrol and our critical programs, but to positively impact officers and their families as well.

Important Details About the Trip to Peru

This trip will not only be a trip of a lifetime for you but is also a fundraiser for Angels on Patrol. The cost to attend this trip is $6500 per person plus the additional cost of round trip airfare to Peru. You can fundraise the $6500 or you can pay your own way. The $6500 you raise will cover all costs except for airfare, $350 for tips, $100 for a Visa upon entry, souvenirs, alcohol, and such. A portion of the money you raise will come back to Angels on Patrol to provide officer-initiated support to community members in times of crisis.
This 11 day adventure includes 4 days of community service in the Sacred Valley, sightseeing tours in Cusco, 2-day private guided tour of Machu Picchu, a day excursion up Huayna Picchu and a tour of an alpaca farm.
You DO NOT have to be from Arizona to go on this trip with us! You can be from anywhere!
REGISTRATION FOR HIKERS: Hikers, upon registration for the climb you are committing to raising $6,500 to AoP for your participation. You can pay this amount either personally, through fundraising, or both. 100% of the $6,500 needs to be collected by May 31, 2024 to participate. To register and start the process you can make the first $1,000 deposit now. Upon registration you will receive your welcome email to the climb. Funds raised are non-refundable.

SUPPORT OR SPONSOR A HIKER: If you do not want to go on the trip but want to help sponsor a hiker (specifically an officer from one of the 13 agencies we work with), you are welcome to donate to the general fund for this trip.
